Clive Reynolds


Clive Reynolds specialises in strategies and methodologies linking learning & development to business needs, with particular emphasis on demonstrable, measured transfer of learning to the workplace for tangible business benefit.

Clive has a wealth of practical experience in strategy development, operating systems and manufacturing management (with W S Atkins and Leyland Vehicles), and in higher education for industry (as Director of Industrial Programmes at the University of Warwick). 

At Warwick he pioneered a succession of innovative learning & development programmes across many sectors, including automotive, aerospace, chemicals and electronics, and has worked in mainland Europe, Asia and the US as well as the UK. Recently he headed up a major R&D project at the University into capability development for innovation and technology transfer.

Clive assists companies to understand, evaluate and enhance the impact of people-related factors on their competitive advantage. He works with senior managers to build a sustainable organisational capability to match a company’s human capital with its constantly evolving business drivers. He helps businesses to design learning programmes which will meet business needs and exceed expectations.

He also works with learning providers to help them to achieve demand-led processes which demonstrably meet business needs, and to build enduring partnerships with their industrial clients.
